We have an innovative menu available at all times of the day. If you wish to call in for a simple snack at lunchtime or you are looking for a full three course meal, we hope to have a dish to suit all tastes.

Here at Number 8, you can enjoy your meal in elegant surroundings without feeling underdressed or out of place. We offer the highest standards of home cooked cuisine in light and informal surroundings. 

So please feel free to pop in at any time of the day, you’re guaranteed a warm welcome. The opening times shown are our food service times, we are licensed until 1am seven days a week.

We can cater for larger parties for special occasions such as Weddings, Anniversaries and Birthdays, with specially arranged menus for your party.  If you are arranging a special occasion please feel free to contact us by using the ‘Contact Us’ link in the menu, by telephone or simply by calling in during opening hours. Alison Clay will be pleased to speak to you. If, however, you happen to call during a busy period we’ll take brief details and Alison will call you back as soon as possible. Ideally located in central Selby, your guests won't need to worry about finding out of town venues or parking.
