Local Suppliers

Here at No. 8 we are proud of the fact that we use local suppliers wherever possible. It’s often the case that these statements are made, when in reality the restaurant actually uses national suppliers. In the menu to the left you will find links to some of our suppliers.

We have made every attempt to support local businesses and would encourage our customers to do the same.

It’s not only about keeping money in the local economy, which is obviously important. It also about freshness and quality. By having our groceries, meat and other ingredients delivered from local suppliers we are able to ensure that they are of the highest quality and are as fresh as possible.

Our aim is your satisfaction and quality fresh produce is the only solid foundation on which to base this. Our chefs might be great, but nobody can product the best results with inferior materials.
